1972 Triumph Stag with Hardtop

This Triumph Stag has been in long term ownership since 2001. Its custodian, a Stag Owners’ Club member, entered the motor car into a schedule of thorough, no expense spared refurbishment, which included a complete body restoration and respray in Delph Blue (including the hardtop) in 2003 and a full retrim soon after, which included the fitting of new upholstery, door cards and carpets. The previous owner had replaced the hood in 2000 and installed a new engine, power steering rack and stainless steel exhaust system a few years earlier.

Due to health reasons, the Stag has resided in dry storage for the last five years or so; although the motor car starts and drives, we would recommend that the new owner carries out a recommissioning service before returning it to the road. The cosmetics remain in good order, apart from a small dent in the hardtop, and the Triumph has clearly been cherished by its owner for the last eighteen years.

The extensive history includes a photograph album, the original handbook, old tax discs, two V5C registration certificates, a schedule of maintenance from June 1973 until 2001, a history of keepers, and a large quantity of invoices and MOT test certificates.

An excellent opportunity to acquire a good example of its type, which is equipped with the desirable manual gearbox.
