To find more than one of these little Morris Minor Tourers in the same sale is rare indeed. Like the green one also on offer, RV2582 has been in dry storage, in this case since 2012. The V5C registration certificate suggests that there was one previous owner, a Vintage Morris Register member, who appears to have bought the motor car when new. Although in slumbering mode when viewed, the Morris looks remarkably sound. The side screens look quite new and the cockpit is generally tidy and correct in terms of instrumentation. The paintwork should respond to a good polish. It does appear that the hood fabric needs replacing but otherwise here is a pretty little motor car which looks capable of reasonably simple refurbishment. The later body style of this and the 1934 example as catalogued, offers much better accommodation than the earlier models and are thus more sought after.
A V5C registration certificate accompanies the vehicle, together with an old V5 document, an RF60 registration book, sundry MOT test certificates including its last one dated March 12th 2009, some interesting old invoices and road tax discs.
