This delightful and rare Morris has clearly been well cared for. It was the subject of a complete respray in 2007 and generally, the body remains very presentable apart from the front wings, which could be improved on, but this is a minor issue. In addition, the green leather front seats have recently been reupholstered and the carpets have been renewed. The interior remains in good condition, including the headlining, and the rear blind in working order. The sunroof has been restored and is in good operational condition.
The engine has recently been reconditioned; work included a rebore and the fitting of new pistons and new white metal bearings. The shock absorbers have been upgraded. The petrol gauge is not working, but this is a common fault. With safety in mind, the Morris is fitted with flashing indicators and the exhaust system has been replaced fairly recently. All other mechanical departments we understand are described as good and the motor car sits on the original wheels with a set of good tyres.
The 10/4 is supplied with a large history file, which includes the handbook, invoices, photographs of the restoration and the V5C registration certificate. All in all, super pre-war Morris, ready to be enjoyed this summer.
