The Morris Ten Saloon was announced in September 1932, being a medium sized car designed for the popular 10h.p. market, largely occupied by Austin and others. The four door saloon body was of good quality and power came from a 1292cc side valve engine driving through a four speed manual gearbox.
OC 1907 is truly described as good in respect of both bodywork and mechanics. It certainly presents very well with restored green and black coachwork complimented by the green upholstery re-trimmed by Bevan of Cheltenham and the green carpeting. The engine, gearbox and rear axle are described as good. Brakes, steering and tyres equally so.
An large history is supplied with the Morris, containing an interesting and amazing wealth of information. This includes the original sales invoice of the supplier Frank Whitworth, the original guarantee and oiling chart, insurance certificates for 1930 and onwards, eight driving licences (the earliest from 1924) a handbook, a parts list, a quantity of invoices, correspondence, MOT test certificates, an RF60A registration book and the V5C registration certificate. Also included is a luggage box, a picnic set and an old wireless.
