1998 Mazda MX-5

Widely considered to be the world’s best-selling two-seat sports car, the Mazda MX-5 is affordable and fun, and crucially very well designed, with virtually a 50/50 weight distribution. For those looking for a modern version of a 1960s classic sports car, a lightweight, economical and well-appointed Mazda MX-5 probably cannot be bettered.

This low mileage, second generation (NB) 1998 example was supplied when new by Christchurch Mazda, and is finished in Pearlescent Blue, with a charcoal fabric interior and MX-5 overmats. It is fitted with fixed headlamps, a heated glass rear window, a Pioneer radio / CD player and a lively 1.6 engine coupled to a five speed gearbox.

The light and easy-to-drive modern classic sports roadster has had just four previous owners. It is supplied with service history, MOT test certificates, the original handbook and a maintenance book. Recent work has included the fitting of a new cambelt.
