1962 MG A 1600 Roadster

To have one of these very pretty Roadsters on offer is always welcome and to have a choice of two is particularly exciting. Although registered in 1962, it would appear that this example is earlier in build and thought to be 1960, which would account for the 1588cc engine and certain detailing.

591 DXP is finished in Chariot Red with black trim and carpets. Folding hood and sidescreens are present and in good order.  There are photographs on file of a comprehensive restoration in 2011, with invoices in support. More recent work to front suspension, brakes, engine, including the fitment of an unleaded cylinder head and carburettors amount to over £5,000.

The MG comes with a V5C registration certificate, photographs of the restoration works and various invoices, MOT history and an HPI check.

Sensibly reserved the motor car deserves a new home and should offer good value compared to some ‘show’ cars of similar make and model.
