1994 Jaguar XJS 4.0 Coupe

Known as the facelift version under the new ownership of the Ford Motor Company, The XJS could still be specified with the AJ6 four litre engine as used in the XJ6 saloon. Most had an automatic gearbox but this beautiful two owner example was fitted with a five speed manual box.

Supplied new by H A Fox of Southampton, and also to the current second owner, this British Racing Green coupe with its aforesaid rare five speed manual gearbox makes an interesting proposition. The Magnolia hide seats have aged as expected but still could respond to a little attention so as to compliment the superb walnut dashboard and general Jaguar opulence.

The 4 litre straight six engine and that five speed manual gearbox, are described by the Doctor owner of some twenty three years, as being good. The lattice style alloy road wheels are very smart and tyres are good. This is thought to be a good combination of power and economy which should see the car continue to be in regular use beyond its 100034 miles

The XJS is offered with a V5C registration certificate plus the original sales invoice, correspondence, a quantity of service and maintenance records, and handbooks with thier wallet. The private registration number is included in the sale.
