1999 BMW Z3 2.8 Roadster with Hardtop

The Z3 was introduced on the 12th of June 1995 to an expectant market that eagerly anticipated BMW’s first ‘mass market’ Roadster. It was also BMW’s first model to be produced in the USA.  After an appearance in ‘Golden Eye’, albeit in a minor capacity, sales of the Z3 Roadster soared to 15,000 prior to its introduction onto the car market. Today, the model offers excellent value for money, enhanced by that all-important BMW technology and offers lively and impressive performance.

This smart 2.8 Z3 has been in the care of one family only; purchased new in April 1999, the vendor‘s son became its second keeper in 2020 before ownership passed back to his father in 2022. Throughout its life, the BMW has been well maintained and cared for, and carefully used, as evidenced in the car itself, which is also equipped with a factory-fitted tracking system and a CD multi changer. For the last year or so, it has had little use but a programme of maintenance has been carried out; work has included most recently the replacement of all coil springs and the repair of the front wheel arch liners. The bodywork and paint has also been maintained to a very high standard with no expense spared.  The vendor describes the sports are as excellent or very good in all departments. The original interior is smart and well-preserved and benefits from new floor mats. The beige leather upholstery is tidy and clean and the hardtop is excellent. Mechanically, the X3 is very good and there are no known faults. The mileage is correct.

The BMW is supplied with a full tank of fuel, plus its original first aid kit, stowed in the boot, together with the history file which contains consecutive MOT test certificates from 2012 to date, invoices, the tracking system information, an older V5C and the current V5C registration certificate.
