1976 Suzuki AP50

Suzuki was a little behind its competitors when the AP50 was launched in the Seventies; Yamaha and Honda had a loyal following for their equivalent mopeds, but the AP outshone its rivals when it finally did arrive, with a ‘proper’ motorcycle stature, advanced mechanisms and a dizzying top speed of around 50mph.

This AP50 sports moped is a pedal model either for restoration or equally, with recommissioning and a good tidy up, it would be entirely suited as an inexpensive runabout. Finished in its original paintwork (with some patina) the Suzuki is equipped with the original saddle which is understood to be in good condition. The engine ‘kicks over’, but the throttle cable is apparently jammed and will require replacement. The moped has had three previous owners and was last on the road in 1995.

The file contains old road tax discs and MOT test certificates, and the V5C registration certificate.
