2001 Mercedes-Benz SLK 320

Launched in 1996, the SLK range of models were designed to fulfil Mercedes’ desire to produce a modern, light, sporting roadster which was reminiscent of the iconic 190SL.  Competing with contemporary marques such as the Porsche Boxster, the models proved to be a huge success for Mercedes-Benz.

In the current ownership for some nine years and with just two previous owners, this SLK320 has been carefully used as a second car and maintained to a high standard, with regular servicing. With typical Mercedes-Benz build quality and ‘one finger’ electric roof operation, the interior is beautifully appointed with leather upholstery and a walnut: centre consul, door trim inserts and a half-timbered steering wheel. The alloy road wheels are virtually unmarked and the bodywork, finished in Brilliant Silver, is in good condition, apart from the odd stone chip. As well as the appealing electric roof, the motor car boasts many other features, including ABS, cruise control, traction control, multiple air bags, electric seats and windows, an adjustable steering column, ESP power steering and many other gadgets and gizmos.

The history file for the SLK230 contains handbooks in their original wallet, a quantity of invoices, service history, past MOT test certificates and the V5C registration certificate.
