2002 Opel Speedster Convertible

With its aluminium frame, fibreglass body and aluminium alloy 2.2 litre engine, the Opel Speedster is light and quick, and something of a rarity too. This head-turning example has been in the current ownership since new and has been cherished, as evidenced by the invoices contained in the file and its genuine low mileage.

We understand that the glass fibre panel work is immaculate, as is the paintwork. The interior is similarly excellent. Having just passed an MOT test, we are assured that it is in good mechanical order with no known faults. There was a brake fluid top up in May of this year and it appears to have had its last documented full service in 2018 at 46151 miles, since then the Opel has only covered around 400 miles and has been carefully kept in warm, dry storage.  In 2018, new all-round shock absorbers were fitted and the coolant header tank was replaced.

As its owner’s pride and joy, this Opel has clearly been cosseted throughout its life and is consequently difficult to fault. It surely is a sound investment for the future.

The history file contains the original purchase invoice from 2002, MOT test certificates, invoices, service history, the service and hand books in original wallet and the V5C registration certificate.
