2003 Morgan 4/4 Runabout

This very smart 4/4 Runabout, aptly finished in Regal Red, was originally ordered by a Mr McKnight of Stoke on Trent. It moved to its second owner in Lancashire in 2009 and the current custodian and only third owner purchased the Morgan in 2017. It has been well maintained throughout its life, certainly in the current ownership, with very regular servicing and checks; most recently, with the May MOT test, the brake light switch was replaced and the brake fluid topped up, a full service was carried last year with a coolant change and a fuel hose replacement, and in 2022, the suspension was greased. A new battery was installed in 2019. The mileage stands at under 26000 and is correct, as evidenced by MOT test certificates included in the file.

There are no known mechanical faults with the sporting car, we are told that it runs and drives as it should, a result of the careful maintenance of the current owner. The engine bay is immaculate, and the body, paintwork and interior are all difficult to fault. Non-standard accessories include spot lights and a luggage rack. The weather equipment is described as being in good condition.

The history file contains an almost continuous run of MOT test certificates dating from 2006, an owner’s handbook, the purchase invoice for the current ownership, correspondence, a service record for the current ownership, invoices from the current and previous ownerships an EEC Certificate of Conformity, the original order form and confirmation letter, a copy of the Morgan Sports Car Club magazine and the V5C registration certificate.
