1998 Land Rover Range Rover 4.0 SE

This smart classic Range Rover, with a good history, has been continuously well maintained by its current custodian of twenty years, who is only the second owner of the vehicle. The mileage of some 81000 is considered correct. An LPG gas conversion was carried out in 2004.

A new Kenlowe fan was fitted in 2005 and a stainless exhaust system in 2007. A coil spring conversion was carried out in 2015. A new water pump was fitted in same year. In 2018-19, the braking system received attention. The air conditioning was re-gassed and the pressure switches replaced in 2020. A new battery was installed in 2023, as was a new starter motor.

The body is in good, presentable condition; there is evidence of headlamp and rear lamp guards fitted in the past. The paintwork is good and straight, the original alloy wheels are good. The O/S/R door moulding requires replacement. We are told that the heated rear screen is not working and that the sunroof is sealed. The leather upholstery is very good, the interior in general is immaculate for its age.

The history file contains the original handbook, a continuous run of MOT test certificates from 2004, numerous invoices from the current ownership, sundry correspondence and the V5C registration certificate.
