1979 Yamaha RS125 - DX Model

Now a rare model, the RS125 is a well-constructed light motorcycle, as one would expect from Yamaha. The DX designation refers to the front disc brake. Having been in dry storage for twenty-two years and placed on long term ‘SORN’, we understand that this example will require general recommissioning before acquiring an MOT test certificate and returning to the road. However, it appears to have been well-looked after and retains its original tool kit. The vendor tells us that the engine runs well and the gearbox is good, so after the recommissioning and a sympathetic restoration if desired, this should prove to be a good, reliable motorcycle. It is supplied with a Haynes workshop manual, invoices, one old MOT test certificate, the V5C registration certificate and a spare rear number plate.
