1990 Yamaha FS1

The FS1 was a moped of the Seventies and later, offering all the style and sophistication of a Yamaha, but scaled down to 49cc. It was a popular machine and retains a loyal following today, by those who sensibly appreciate a well-designed classic moped.

This 1990 example would be the ideal starter classic for a new enthusiast of any age. It has been nicely restored, with many new parts fitted, including new wheel rims, spokes and tyres (and the hubs have been polished), together with a new battery, mudguards, exhaust system, wiring loom and switch, gears, cables and many others. The frame and swinging arm have been powder coated. The engine is rebuilt and equipped with new bearings, crankshaft, barrel and cylinder head. We are told that the engine will require running in and the FS1 is supplied with its V5C registration certificate.

All in all, an excellent value matching-numbers motorcycle in show condition, ready to be enjoyed this summer.
