1973 Triumph TR6

This original home-market right hand drive 150bhp model was the subject of a major body-off, nut-and-bolt professional restoration from 1987 until 1990. The work, which is well documented with a very large history file of invoices, included a bare chassis rebuild and a full body restoration with the replacement of most panels, and a thorough rustproofing. The engine was also replaced and reconditioned, the braking system and clutch overhauled, and the motor car was equipped with a new gearbox, overdrive, wiring loom and a Kenlowe fan. A new mohair hood and tonneau cover were installed and the Triumph was completed with new brightwork at that time.

The previous TR Register member custodian purchased LAH 910L in 2006 and enjoyed nearly a decade of pleasurable motoring and continental tours in the motor car. The current owner purchased the TR6 from DVCA in March 2016 to form part of his motoring collection; due to lack of time and use, he is reluctantly parting with it now.

As well as the aforementioned restoration invoices, the history file also contains the V5C registration certificate and its replacement, a BMIHT certificate, old road tax discs, a quantity of MOT test certificates, an invoice for a service and work to the front suspension, and a Brooklands Books workshop manual.
