2008 Suzuki GSX1400 K7 FE

The GSX1400 was not initially intended for Suzuki’s European clientele, but a high demand for the sporting machine meant that the model finally arrived in the UK in 2002. The nostalgic styling of the model was a nod to the late Seventies, but it was the hefty 1402cc air-cooled inline four engine which was the popular bit, coupled with a well-designed double seat and comfortable ride position, so for weekend touring, it really couldn’t be bettered.

This particular machine was supplied to the late Cedric Sansom as its first registered keeper by the Crescent Suzuki Performance Centre of Verwood. It is beautifully finished in unmarked Pearl Deep Blue and Glass White and is in superb condition. With 779 miles on the odometer, it clearly hasn’t been used for touring yet, but we would advise its next owner to carry out a recommissioning service before enjoying the machine on the open roads this summer.

The history file contains the original dealer wallet, the owner’s manual, warranty handbook, service record, the Suzuki dealer book, a welcome brochure, the original purchase order and sales invoice, the V5C registration certificate and its replacement.
