1996 Rover Mini Cooper 1.3i

The original highly-influential design for the Mini by Sir Alec Issigonis was perfection in the eyes of most and stylistically, the motor car required little alteration from the first model in 1959 to the last in 2000. Over 1.5 million examples were sold in the UK and the innovative economy classic has certainly retained its popularity with sporting motorists of all ages, who favour the sought-after traditionally styled Minis over their more modern counterparts.

This Cooper 1.3i does not appear to be a major restoration project so should appeal to young and more mature enthusiasts alike. Finished in the iconic ‘works’ style colours of red with a white roof, John Cooper bonnet stripes and a black interior with red piping, the specification includes the original alloy road wheels, tinted glass and a must-have racing style petrol filler cap. The Mini comes from a deceased estate and unfortunately paperwork relating to the vehicle’s history has been mislaid, but this sporting car clearly has great potential. The V5C registration certificate is supplied.
