Produced alongside the 250cc Clipper, the 350cc model had an extra 4bhp from its reliable four stroke engine. Suspension was by telescopic forks at the front and swinging arms to the rear. Ignition was by magneto/dynamo. A little overshadowed by the Crusader and Bullet machines, the Clipper was thought to be excellent value for money as a general purpose motorcycle and has stood the test of time well.
This example forms part of a collection offered in this sale on behalf of a deceased gentleman who has clearly cherished these motorcycles and preserved their originality whilst carefully carrying out maintenance and restoration as required. Clearly re-commissioning will be required, whilst hopefully continuing the care and detailing so far evident.
The motorcycle comes with current V5C registration document plus details of just one previous owner. There is a file of invoices and useful notes and information included.
