1965 Morris Minor 1000 Two Door Saloon

Perhaps one of the best ways to try classic motoring, the famous ‘jelly mould’ shape of the ‘Moggie’ always seem to appeal at shows and even in the supermarket car park a crowd may gather. Driving it is so easy, the four speed gearbox being a delight and the 1098cc pulls well. A good example can be used quite seriously, spares are easy and not too expensive if you were to break something and the Morris Minor Owner’s Club is a great source of help and advice.

This particular example has, we are told, had a full body restoration a few years ago and it looks well in the Smoke Grey paintwork, with a smart black interior. The additional luggage rack on the rear boot lid, front seat belts and auxiliary temperature and oil pressure gauges suggest that some serious touring can be envisaged, but even on a short run, smiles will be easily come by.

Offered with the Morris is a V5C registration certificate, a file of invoices and old MOT test certificates, photographs of the restoration work, a handbook and maintenance book.
