1964 Morris Mini Traveller

Not long after the Mini Saloon had established itself in our hearts, it was somewhat inevitable that derivations should follow, particularly for those needing to carry cots, Labradors and other domestic appendages. Hence the Morris Mini Traveller and Austin Mini Countryman were born; still the iconic Mini at the front end but with a neat, practical ‘estate’ body grafted to the rear.

Much expenditure has been lavished on this smart Morris Mini Traveller in recent years. The timber has been replaced, the bodywork resprayed, and the interior has had the front seats retrimmed; the back seat and remaining trim is in good, original condition. A new steering rack and radiator have both been recently fitted, and the brakes have been overhauled. Upgrades include the fitting of a 1275cc engine, alternator, disc brakes, electronic ignition, a big bore exhaust and wide rimmed twelve inch alloy road wheels.

This versatile Mini is supplied with the V5C registration certificate. The road tax classification for this motor car is 'historic'.
