1978 MG B Roadster

This well maintained B Roadster started its life overseas and was imported back to the UK in 1998. A complete body and mechanical restoration was then carried out, with a conversion to RHD, and the total for the car and work in 1999 was over £10,000. It appears that further extensive mechanical work was carried out in 2011 and the front seats were re-padded at the same time. In 2013, the ignition switch was replaced and in 2015, attention was paid to the rear brakes.

The body is described as being good and sound. The paintwork was probably the subject of an older respray and could now be improved. The hood is serviceable and the original interior is also good. The MG sits on Minilite wheels and good tyres. We are told that there are no known faults with the mechanics of the sports car, everything works as it should and it starts and runs well, sounding like a typical MGB!

The history file contains an insurance valuation, numerous MOT test certificates dating back to the 1990s, invoices, Sony radio player instructions, part older V5Cs, the current V5C registration certificate and others.
