2000 Jaguar S-Type 3.0 V6

The original S-Type was an evolution of the Mk II and was produced from 1963 until 1968. Its successor was launched in 1999 and offered all of the refinements one would expect , but in a more compact body to other Jaguars of the era. The modern classic S-Type has aged well and offers excellent value for money eleven years after the final model was produced.

This 3.0 V6 2000 S-Type is in truly exceptional condition and fitted with a rare manual gearbox. It was supplied new by Westover Motors Ltd of Poole at a cost of almost £30,000 and retains its original specification of metallic Carnival Red paint, leather sport seats, carpet mats and a wood and leather steering wheel. The motor car had one owner before the current custodian purchased it in 2006; he is a past chairman of the Alvis Owner Club and has used the Jaguar sparingly and carefully for long journeys. The full service history included in the file confirms the odometer reading of just 25190 miles; the vendor describes the S-Type as in excellent condition and certainly, it is difficult to fault.

Recent maintenance has included the fitting of new front tyres, new rear track control arms and a battery. When not in use, the Jaguar has been garaged and maintained virtually regardless of cost.

The history file contains the original sales invoice, the aforesaid service history, the handbooks in their original leather wallet, numerous invoices, road tax discs, MOT test certificates and the V5C registration certificates. The private registration number is included in the sale.
