2004 Jaguar XK8 Coupe Auto

Following the E-Type of 1961 was never going to be easy and Jaguar tried hard with the XJS in various forms, but maybe the James Bond looks never quite returned until the arrival of the XK8. Seen on our roads since 1996, it will still turn your head as it goes by and with that 4.2 litre V8 engine pushing out 300bhp in standard form, it is no sluggard. Like the aforesaid E-Type, it has the ability to cruise great distances in comfort, yet it does not get flustered in traffic jams like its more expensive rivals and it is still a great vehicle in which to arrive at the Golf Club or local hostelry.

This one lady owner from new XK8 is in superb condition. It has always been garaged and taken on longer jaunts rather than frequent town driving. The exceptionally low mileage is genuine and can be substantiated by the MOT history included in the file. The vendor describes the Jaguar as excellent with no known faults; the interior is in a lovely colour combination, with smart leather upholstery, a walnut dashboard with instrumentation in working order, and other refinements, all reminiscent of a gentleman’s club!  The body is very good and the paintwork tidy, with just a small paint imperfection on the roof above the driver’s door. Mechanically, the motor car is said to be excellent. The 19 inch alloy wheels have had two new tyres fitted recently, and a service was carried out by Taunton Jaguar in 2021. The underside has also been treated with Silver Seal Total Car Protection.
