2003 Bentley Arnage R

The Bentley Arnage was offered in R or RL form, the latter having a longer wheelbase and RL models were available with armoured elements for those in need of enhanced protection against assault weapons and grenades, probably thought unnecessary to most clients, even in Tesco carpark altercations.

For those of a more peaceful nature then, here is a motor car of exceptional quality and equipment, with ample performance from its twin Garrett supercharged 6.75 litre V8 engine. The interior boasts luxurious use of wood and leather so the occupants can be conveyed swiftly and in great comfort.

Finished in Pearlescent Blue with a Champagne leather interior, navy carpets and walnut veneers, this delightful Arnage was originally supplied by Jack Barclay Ltd of London and registered 1 JBL. It is fitted with unmarked 18” alloy road wheels and new tyres fitted at 92804 miles. The motor car presents itself very well, with only minor stone chips to the front bumper and front panel (that’s a very fussy observation though!), otherwise we understand that the bodywork and paint is excellent. Apart from very slight wear to the driver’s seat and a small crack on the driver’s door capping adjacent to the lock push button (which isn’t uncommon), the upholstery and interior (including the steering wheel) is all excellent. The telephone is present and there is one key with the motor car.

Mechanically, we understand it to be very good; with six previous owners and what appears to be a full service history, this well maintained example really shouldn’t be confused with the average Arnage.

The file contains the V5C registration certificate and the handbooks and service book in their original leather wallet.
