BSA truly rang the bell with their little Bantam. The Post Office bought hundreds and overall thousands found ready buyers. The simple DKW inspired engine was available in 125cc, 150cc and 175 cc form. Some were used in Trials and tuned versions found their way to race tracks. Simple to maintain and easy on the wallet, so survivors are popular.
This delightful Bantam resided in Burton-on-Trent in the late 1970s, before heading to Wales and then most recently, Dorset, where it has been carefully looked after by its Superbike-engineer custodian. The motorcycle is in fine order throughout and even boasts a wicker basket, perfect for one’s sandwiches! We understand that it starts easily and runs as it should; a lovely historic BSA then, ready to be enjoyed.
The history file contains MOT test certificates, a rosette award, a reproduction advertising poster, a photocopy servicing and maintenance manual, a V5 document, an older V5C and the current V5C registration certificate.
