1966 BSA Bantam D7 175cc

Purchased in 2011 as a project from DVCA, the custodian of this D7 carried out a light restoration. The machine was completely dismantled and the frame, mudguards, fuel tank and road wheels were stripped and powder coated. The mechanics were checked, the engine and gearbox dismantled and fitted with new parts where appropriate, including new piston rings, Viton crankshaft oil seals, a new exhaust downpipe, a new carburettor and a new battery.

The easy-to-ride starter classic, often favoured by lady riders, is ready to hit the road and be enjoyed this autumn. It is supplied with the V5C registration certificate, old MOT test certificates, invoices, a parts catalogue and a copy instruction book.
