2000 BMW Z3 3.0 with Hardtop

The Z3 was introduced on the 12^th of June 1995 to an expectant market that eagerly anticipated BMW’s first ‘mass market’ Roadster. It was also BMW’s first model to be produced in the USA.   

After an appearance in ‘GoldenEye’, albeit in a minor capacity, sales of the Z3 Roadster soared to 15,000 prior to its introduction onto the car market. It wasn’t until 1999 that a Coupe version arrived, and in 2000, various cosmetic modifications were made to the model; however in 2002, the Z3 was replaced by the Z4.

This 3 litre manual transmission Z3 has a low mileage of 42900. We understand that it was seldom used in its early days and has clearly been cherished throughout its life; the condition of the motor car would be hard to replicate. Y493 NBL has been kept in a heated garage during the current ownership and is very smart, finished in probably the best colour combination of silver with a matching hardtop and a black leather interior (with heated seats!). The hood has been replaced just prior to the sale.

The history file contains handbooks, the V5C registration certificate, several MOT test certificates, a history schedule of MOT tests, service history and images.

An elegant modern sports car that will surely be a future classic.
