1987 BMW R80RT

An exceptionally powerful, comfortable touring machine, this R80RT has been used by its current custodian both for everyday commuting and also for holidaying – the BMW mechanics, ease of handling and overall reliability is obviously key to the model’s longevity and capacity for distance and luggage. The vendor purchased the motorcycle from BMW dealers C. W. Motorcycles of Dorchester in early 2002 but has reluctantly and apprehensively come to the conclusion that it is time to hang up his helmet and stick to four wheels.

Regularly serviced, the machine could be improved on cosmetically but would be an ideal bike for everyday use. Panniers and the original tool kit are supplied, together with a large history file which includes a Haynes manual, numerous invoices, MOT test certificates from 2002, and the V5C registration certificate.
