Our Summer Sale on the 9th of July will offer examples from two of Britain’s most famous motoring manufacturers. For lovers of post-vintage thoroughbred motor cars, a superb 1933 Aston Martin 1½ Litre Long Chassis 4 Seat Tourer has been consigned to the sale; this important Aston has participated in numerous competitions from as early as 1938 and will be offered with an extensive history, spare parts and a guide price of £125000–135000. A 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom III Sedanca De Ville by Windovers heads the prestige line-up at DVCA’s sale; an exceptional example, the Rolls-Royce has also had a fascinating history, having been first delivered to the Maharajah of Rajpipla. The previous owner carried out a lavish restoration on the motor car and it remains in immaculate condition. The Phantom III has an estimate of £110000–130000.
