First appearing in 1954 as the 300SL ‘Gullwing’, the Mercedes-Benz SL series is synonymous with a long line of high quality, grand touring sports cars. Renowned for their build quality and long-legged cruising ability, the Mercedes-Benz SL models offer high quality, great comfort and effortless power.
This SL320 has been in the current ownership since 2012. The motor car is for restoration or spare parts; we are informed that it starts, runs, stops and even has a current MOT test certificate until 10 July 2022, and the Mercedes-Benz has been driven to the sale in north Dorset. The mileage of 138000 is believed to be correct.
The history file contains a quantity of MOT test certificates, invoices (mainly for tyres), the V5C registration certificate and a Mercedes-Benz SL operator’s manual. A new SL63 boot motif is also supplied.
