1969 MG B GT

This versatile B GT is equipped with a fitted Webasto type sunroof and would make an ideal sports car for UK and Continental rallies, given that it benefits from the extra ‘GT’ load space. It has been the subject of a recent major professional restoration, which included attention to the bodywork (with the replacement of several panels), a complete respray and an interior renovation, together with a thorough mechanical check, including a brake overhaul, engine tuning, work to the clutch and the fitting of K&N air filters and new fuel lines. Most of the brightwork has also been replaced, most notably bumper assemblies. An invoice in the file for the restoration totals almost £9000.

After forming part of a private collection, a change in circumstances has forced the sale of this smart sports car, which will be offered with the V5C registration certificate, an MOT test certificate (the MG is now exempt), the aforementioned restoration invoice (dated 28.10.2016) and sundry paperwork.
