1988 Lincoln Mk VII LSC

A truly stylish and well- appointed offering from Michigan based Lincoln Motors, featuring air suspension and anti-lock brakes. The LSC Model (Luxury Sports Coupe) was powered by a 5 litre V8 with a four speed automatic gearbox and a long list of equipment including cast aluminium wheels, power seats, climate control, power windows, locks and mirrors. Ford’s keyless entry system was also installed to support its image as a technically advanced car for the 1980s and some had automatic headlamp dimming worked via a sensor by the rear view mirror, with adjustment by a dial on the dashboard.

This particular Mk VII arrived in the UK in 1989. Its vendor describes the motor car as very good or excellent in all departments; we understand that the bodywork, panel fit, underside etc.. are all very good and the interior is smart and tidy, apart from a little wear on the driver’s seat by the seatbelt. Apparently, everything works and there are no known faults, it is a lovely and original example and is fitted with non-original rear parking sensors. In 2019, the air conditioning system was re-gased. In 2020, over £1700 was spent on a service, new battery and brake overhaul and in 2021, four new tyres were fitted. A superb Lincoln, perfect for an 80s American classic enthusiast.

The history file contains invoices, general history on the model, dash display instructions, Kenwood radio instructions, the original owner’s handbook in its correct leather wallet, brake test results from 2018, MOT test certificates from 2018 to 2022 inclusive, a Haynes repair manual and the V5C registration certificate.
