1991 Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4x4

After its first year spent in Blighty, this 4 x 4 Sierra Cosworth led a cosseted life on the Channel Island of Guernsey before returning to the UK in 2008, when it was imported by the current custodian, who believes the odometer reading of 82500 miles to be correct. On its return, its owner ensured that the original British registration number was re-issued. J537 WOO was the subject of a respray some five years ago; sensibly, the motor car has been kept in original condition and to original specification, apart from a ‘dump’ valve that was fitted in Guernsey – the vendor confesses that he does like the sound!

New front springs and shock absorbers have recently been fitted, together with new brake discs and pads and new tyres. We understand that a stainless steel exhaust system has been installed. The original black interior is in good condition, and all instrumentation is correct and working.

The history file includes the V5C registration certificate, the import document, invoices and MOT test certificates for the last ten years.

These modern classic Fords are extremely sought after and very difficult to find in such excellent condition.
