1974 ERF LAG 160 011 Flatbed Lorry

This 1974 ERF has recently been restored throughout and has formed part of a private collection since 2012. The cab exterior, chassis and body have been refurbished to a high standard, although the cab interior, which has survived well, has been left, as has the driver’s seat which is understandably well-worn, but the decision was made to leave as is to create the correct used look. At the same time, the Gardner 6.5 litre diesel engine was checked over and the ERF was fitted with a new gearbox.

Since the restoration, the lorry has taken part in historic commercial shows and road runs around the lanes of Devon and Cornwall with confidence and reliability. It is in superb condition overall and a credit to its enthusiast owner.

This history file includes the V5C registration certificate, the Plating Certificate, test certificates and inspection documents, sundry documents and an invoice dated May 2013 for the restoration work at a cost of £6394. The vehicle taxation class is Private HGV.

Should prospective purchasers require further assurances of its reliability, the ERF will be driven over one hundred miles to the auction sale.
